How to Add Your Business to CityPointUK

CityPointUK helps people find local businesses, services and organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber.

You can submit a listing if your business is based in the region or genuinely provides services to customers in one or more of the towns covered by CityPointUK. Every submission is reviewed before publication to help keep the directory accurate, useful and locally relevant.

Who Can Add a Listing?

We accept submissions from:

• Businesses and organisations located in Yorkshire and the Humber.
• Local shops, restaurants, accommodation providers and professional services.
• Tradespeople and mobile service providers that regularly serve customers in the region.
• Healthcare, education, leisure, public service and community organisations.

CityPointUK currently accepts businesses and organisations located in Yorkshire and the Humber. Submissions from other UK regions may be declined until those areas are added to the directory.

How to Submit a Listing

1. Create an account or sign in to your existing account.
2. Choose the available free listing option.
3. Add your business name, address, category and contact details.
4. Include a clear description, website, opening hours and other useful information.
5. Check the information and submit your listing for review.

All new listings are checked manually before they appear in the directory. Review times may vary depending on the information provided.

Before You Submit

Please make sure that your listing contains accurate and up-to-date information, including:

• The correct business or organisation name.
• A valid local address or clearly stated service area.
• A working telephone number, email address or website.
• The most relevant business category.
• An original and useful description of the business.
• Current opening hours, where applicable.

Providing complete information will make the listing more useful to visitors and may help us review it more quickly.

Listings We May Not Approve

CityPointUK may decline or remove submissions that include:

• Businesses with no clear connection to Yorkshire and the Humber.
• Duplicate listings for the same business and location.
• Incorrect, misleading or unverifiable information.
• Keyword-stuffed or copied descriptions.
• Broken websites or invalid contact information.
• Listings submitted mainly for promotional links rather than a genuine local service.

We may edit minor formatting issues or place a listing in a more appropriate category before publication.

Service-Area Businesses

A physical shop or office is not always required. Mobile businesses, tradespeople and service providers may be accepted if they genuinely and regularly serve customers in the listed area.

Please use a truthful service area and avoid selecting towns where the business does not normally operate.
